A special Holiday exhibition
The holiday season is fast approaching and many people can’t wait to spend some quality time with their family! You’re probably already dreaming of spending the afternoon with your little ones, walking in Old Quebec under a powdery snow to digest many a huge meal. Indeed we know our clientele loves to take advantage of the extra free time to discover new arrivals in the gallery. So we put together a special exhibition during the 2018 holidays for you and your children!
Indeed, a section of the gallery will be specially designed for children so that you can share your love of art with your family! Your toddlers will be able to discover the colorful paintings of Boudro, a pop art artist greatly inspired by comics, as well as Bao, a new artist in the Perreault family!
Boudro’s paintings are a treat to discover and rediscover always! A regular at cultural events in Quebec City, the pop art artist has created special works in the past for the International Jazz Festival of Quebec and the Nuit des Galeries in 2017. The Quebec painter has a large audience in Quebec, the United States and also in Europe.
Your kids will love seeing characters they know in a whole new light: Donald Duck, Snoopy, Mickey Mouse, Tintin … Even Asterix’s Idefix is there! They will also see their favorite superheroes in art, with puzzle pieces featuring Spiderman and Superman!
This will probably be the only time your toddlers will be happy to see the dentist! Indeed, Bao Pham is not only a self-taught pop art artist; the painter is also a professional dentist!
Your kids will recognize in Bao’s artworks characters they know and love, like Jack Sparrow or Harley Quinn, while discovering icons from the past, like The Beatles or Charlie Chaplin. All this in a colorful universe inspired by graffiti!
Take advantage of your visit to see our other paintings available in the gallery: the brightly colored portraits of Françoise Nielly, the living landscapes of Daniel Gagné, the abstract art of Hugo Landry, and more!
